Hi
I can't figure out how make Metro theme the default theme for mobile users.
Following installation steps, metro does not show as an option in style options . The only options in mobile style I have is the old default vbulletin 4.2.5 mobile .
Here's is a link to my forum, you may change language to english, thanks.

Hello,
Go to AdminCP - Settings - Options - Style & Language Settings and set both "Default Style for Old Mobile Browsers" and "Default Style for Modern Mobile Browsers" to your Metro mobile. it should work for you!

Hi, I purchased your theme however no plugins at all are working, and you can check by yourself there is an issue with the home page display (and the forums are not separated correctly), it just looks horrible :

I had to disable the mobile theme because it just doesn't work as expected.

Hello,
It seem like you missed one important step during the installation. You have to install the theme into the mobile theme section not into the desktop ones. It's described in the documentation. You need to reinstall the theme from scratch.

I didn't miss anything, I installed the theme in the mobile theme section (not in the desktop ones), and i had to disable it after i saw that nothing was working..

Hello, I sent you an email but maybe you didn't receive it correctly. I have few problems with the theme and I wondering if you could help me to resolve?
1- (ICONS PROBLEM) In the main forum index, I can't see the icons, just a blank space appears, maybe it's because I'm using custom icons?
- How can I force to show the icons of your theme?
2- (PREFIX PROBLEM) Sometimes i can't access to the threads. There seems to be a problem with threads that have a prefix. For example: when I click on a thread that has a prefix like 'NEWS', it goes to https://www.domain.com/f2/prefix-news/ instead of https://www.domain.com/news-about-apple -phones-917225
- ¿How I could resolve this? I would like that go to inside the thread and not to prefix-index
3- (COLLAPSED SUBFORUMS) When I go to a category with different subforums from the top-black-menu this subforums appears +Collpased, instead expanded as the original mobile theme.
- ¿How could show directly expanded to see all subforums in that categories?
4- (QUICK REPLY) If I want to put a reply I have to click a REPLY BUTTON and then appears the editor area to write a comment.
- ¿There is some way to show the editor area directly open, without press the reply button?
Thank you for your help

Will the theme also be updated to/for VB 5?

Hello,
You don’t need the theme for vBulletin 5. Metro for vB5 is already responsive and doesn’t include any extra mobile variations.

Hello,
Unfortunately, vBulletin mobile themes are quite limited. You can only add advertisement or edit links via template editing. If you need more information, contact us via our profile page.

Hello.
I am looking for a responsive theme for my vbulletin 4.2.5. I know this is not a responsive theme, but I have been told very well about it. I am looking for a friendly theme to use only in mobile version, before buying it, I would like to make a couple of queries:
1.- Are plugins (like dbtech thanks) well integrated?
2.- Is theme only for mobile or does it also have a desktop version?
Thanks and best regards.

Hi how are you? I am having an issue with your mobile theme https://themeforest.net/item/metro-mobile-a-mobile-theme-for-vbulletin-42/4013274
The TITLE tag for each thread is exactly the same, which means that any search engine optimization is not possible. With google switching to mobile indexing first, that means they are pulling meta tags from the VB mobile theme and not the desktop theme. Is there a workaround for this and are you planning on fixing this issue? I want to buy your theme but this is stopping me. Thank you.

Hello,
Sorry for the delayed response. Just didn't have enough time for testing. You know, it's possible. I tried to replace the mobile titles code with the titles from the default theme and it worked - now you can see full titles in the mobile theme too. One theme - you need to replace the title code manually through a few dozens of templates. But I think you can just add the new title code to the main templates like homepage, subforums and thread pages.

Hello,
Unfortunately, vBulletin guys didn't add the option into the mobile themes. The say they did in intentionally "to encourage people to purchase the Mobile Suite" - https://forum.vbulletin.com/forum/vbulletin-4/vbulletin-4-questions-problems-and-troubleshooting/4330544-mobile-theme-just-shows-attached-images?p=4330948#post4330948

Hello,
The theme initial release was for vBulletin 4.2 so you may have some issues with the theme (style or functions).

Dear,
I installed your Metro Mobile theme on my vBulletin v4.2.5 But it's not working properly. I get some jQuery errors. How can i solve this problem?

PixelGoose
Hello,
We didn't not modify jQuery inside vBulletin in any way and the theme doesn't include any third-party js-code. So the errors look very strange. Could you please contact us and send a link to your forum? I need to have a look at the code.

Hello,
I don't think it has something with the theme. It just looks like permissions settings or server issues. Did you check the server logs or your browser console log?

Hello,
You don't need the mobile theme if you're using vBulletin 5. Metro for vB5 is already a responsive theme. Just install Metro for vB5 and it will work for you.

It's been 3 years, I never did get support for getting the "Sections" button to work on my style. So aggravating, it shows on the mobile theme but doesn't work on the one that was provided for download.

Hello,
Could you please explain in more details what certain button you mean? What OS and what browser are you using and getting the issue? I've just tested the mobile theme buttons in the latest browsers and they seem to be working OK.

Hi,
I purchased a licence for your mobile theme for vBulletin 4.2. The title says "4.2" (not 4.2.x) and the screen shots show "Powered by vBulletin Version 4.2.0" on the footer. I have kept my forum site at version 4.2.0 PL3, partly because the cvedetails.com security report for all vBulletin versions ranks v4.2.0 PL3 as having the least exploit vulnerabilities of the version 4.2.x generation.
My problem is that I am unable to install your mobile theme because it appears only compatible with v4.2.5 (despite your screenshots) and the title containing "...for vBulletin 4.2" on the envato site. When I attempt to import the Metro-Mobile-Blue.xml file, I receive the following error:
***This file was created using a different version of vBulletin from the one you are running. Your version: 4.2.0 File version: 4.2.5***
Is there a version of your mobile theme that I can somehow acquire that WILL work with vBulletin version 4.2.0 (like the one in your screenshots)? Your reply and assistance will surely be appreciated.
Thank you
*Edit:*
I'll try this version to see how well it works, but please notify me if there's a better version available.

PixelGoose
Hello,
If you want a 4.2.0 version, please contact us via our profile page, I'll send you the package directly.
But you can still use the 4.2.5 version. It should work fine for you. The mobile theme version changes were mainly core php files modifications. The templates weren't affected. So if you want to try to use the 4.2.5 version, you can install it by setting the "Ignore style version" to "Yes" on the installation page.

Hello. I've just installed your template and I have a small problem. I do not see the icons at the top and the header is not correctly loaded. Your theme does not load with edge on windows mobile 10. This is the site https://www.politi.ca.it/forum/ Thank you.

Hello,
As far as I can see you have some issues with theme's image paths. They just point to the main domain directory. Could you please check the image paths via style variables? What paths are there? You can find it here -
AdminCP - Styles & Templates - Style Manager - Metro Mobile Blue - Style Variable Editor (dropdown menu to the right). Here just look at the ImagePaths. You should see something like "images/metro_mobile/blue/misc" etc.

Yes, it's OK with the paths. It looks like something rewrites the ways. Do you have access to the server logs? Are there any errors in them?

I click on save 2 time on page AdminCP – Styles & Templates – Style Manager – Metro Mobile Blue – Style Variable Editor where is the summary and now works perfectly.

Oh, it looks some caching issues with your forum installation or the server. Anyway please let us know if you meet any situations like this in future!

The only 1, but it's not important, is that mobile version doesn't run on microsoft windows 10 mobile. But it's a problem of Vbulletin I think becouse default mobile version doesn't run too.
